On the first day of school students are assigned a faculty Advisor who will meet with his or her advisees throughout the year. It is the responsibility of the Advisor to orient new students, to know each advisee well, and to counsel them on all matters pertaining to study habits, behaviour, and overall academic achievement. Advisors will issue grades and comments on their advisees to parents at the first midterm and at the end of each term thereafter. In all matters of discipline or difficulty with particular subjects, advisors shall be kept apprised and will be called upon to speak to and for their advisees. They shall also be held responsible for keeping parents informed about any matters brought to their attention regarding behaviour of individual advisees.
